Cranberries provide a zing to this nutritionally powerful smoothie. This is a great way to use the abundance of winter fruits. Kelp is a cold-weather crop and complements the cranberry-orange flavor base of this healthy smoothie recipe.
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 Ocean Approved kelp cube (or 2 TB kelp)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 Medjool dates (or 1 1/2 tsp honey)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- chia seeds for topping, optional
Add all ingredients to a blender; puree until smooth.
