We employ three varieties of delicious and nutritious native to Maine kelp in our products. Our kelp products are frozen rather than dried. By not drying our products, they remain mild in flavor and retain their natural green color. Nature has designed Maine kelps to freeze twice a day in the winter during low tide periods. We are unable to tell the difference between our frozen kelp once thawed, and kelp we froze six years ago and stored. As a 100% natural frozen vegetable, they perform exceptionally well.
