Artist Statement: Inspired by the textural qualities of nature, rhythms of the ocean and personal adornment of other cultures, Lynda records her impressions in Precious Metal Clay (PMC.) This clay like material encourages the use of texture and features low-tech, nontoxic fabrication methods. Work is hand cast in pure silver with PMC or traditionally cast in Argentium. Both metals produce sparkling white treasures. In addition to designing jewelry, Lynda works with ceramic clay and paints. She enjoys combining common materials in unusual ways. In addition to her own line, she offers custom design services for individual or multiple pieces. Lynda has been a certified PMC instructor for 7 years. She offers classes and tutoring.
